"Dogs lives are far too short; their only fault, really."- Agnes Sligh Turnbull

Just before Christmas, 2004, we lost a very special member of our family; our beloved "Rider." There are no words to describe the pain of losing him. We feel a huge void every day without him. He was the most perfect dog, and the only thing he ever did to disappoint us, was leave too soon. He lived a full, happy, meaningful life. He brought joy to all who knew him, and set a fine example that most people would be wise to follow! Rider was the sweetest puppy in his litter! He grew up to be a champion show dog, a therapy dog, a Canine Good Ambassador, sire of champions and therapy dogs, and most importantly, Best Friend in The World. We will always miss our "Rider-Biter", but take joy in being blessed with his wonderful "kids" who carry on his wonderful, loving ways.

Dearest Rider, Thank you so very much, from the bottom of our hearts, for sharing your life with us. You gave us the greatest joy and happiness. You taught us many important lessons about life that no human ever could. You always gave us your whole heart, unconditionally, and asked for nothing in return. We are better people because of you. We will never forget you, and will love you forever. We look forward to the day when we can see you and your smile, and wagging tail again. God bless you, my sweet boy.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

In loving memory of Ch. Tejas River Dance, aka "Nikki-Noodles!"

2009 has begun with heartbreaking news. Our sweet little Nikki has passed from this life. She was an incredible little girl, and we loved her dearly. She brought so much happiness to so many lives, in her short stay here on earth. We love you and miss you, Nikki. May you always rest happily, with tons of FOOD and squeaky toys. Until we meet again, sweet girl.....

"Reggie"

We are so sad to report that Reggie has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. He lived a full life & we will miss him dearly.

He and his littermates were bred by us, and born and raised in our home. He was shown EXCLUSIVELY by his owner, Kim Hartz. He has never been owned or shown by anyone else.

This litter was sired by our late, great Ch. Tejas Have No Reservation, out of a lovely, black and tan bitch of Hob Nob Hill breeding. We were very fortunate to be blessed with such an outstanding litter!

He was the last puppy out of his litter to go to his new home, and the first to finish his championship! He earned Best of Breeds, group placements and a Best Puppy in Group, handled exclusively by his
owner Kim Hartz of Tanahill Cockers. In the short time he has been specialed, he has earned several Best of Breeds, and group placements, including SIX GROUP FIRSTS!

Reggie was ranked among Canada's TOP TEN! He was also a loving therapy dog to a very special little girl. He was an outstanding representative of the breed, a wonderful tribute to his sire; & we are very proud to be his breeders. We are grateful to our friend Kim Hartz, of Tanahill Cockers, for providing him with such a wonderful home.

Reggie also sired a CHAMPION daughter.

Reggie's registered name is in honor of the U.S Military operations in Afghanistan. His call name is in honor of the Indiana Pacers' Reggie Miller; the NBA's all-time leader in 3 point shots!

We are so sad to report that Reggie has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. He lived a full life & we will miss him dearly.
